Toddlers
|
On Wednesday mornings during term time (10am to 11.30am, the side hall attached to our church building resounds to the sound of many small children, and their parents, having fun.
Our toddler group has been running for many years and provides a safe space for play and friendship for preschool children, babies and parents. The side hall is a big enough space for our lively toddlers to burn off some energy and we have a small enclosed outdoor play area too for those rare sunny days.
We have lots of ride on toys, a climbing frame, craft activities, sing along time; and for the babies, a magic carpet full of baby bouncers and baby toys hemmed in by Mums having a welcome sit down and chat. Most importantly there’s always coffee, tea, juice and biscuits! There is a small charge of 70p each week to cover refreshments and we host a Christmas party and a summer picnic which is always a great hit with the kids. Many of our mums become “regulars” every week, but equally well, we’re happy to see you pop in now and then.
