So you’re at university (well done) and you’re here for a while (great). Loaded with questions? Who am I? What on earth am I here for? How have I ended up in Middlesbrough? What am I going to do for the next 3 years?

Perhaps just some of the questions we all ask, but if you’re new to Middlesbrough or the University then it’s an exciting time as well as a daunting one as you find yourself on a new course and/or in a new place with lots of questions. We offer the opportunity for you to get plugged into the life and soul of a church that (get this) meets less than 400 yards from the university!

We’re a welcoming bunch of people and whether you are new to Middlesbrough, or even if your course is nearly ended, we would love to get to know you and help you find a sense of place and belonging for however long you stay in Middlesbrough.

So whether it’s just hanging out with other people who understand how you see the world, or getting stuck into the worship band, or helping out with other things in the church family or simply forming a few friendships – our This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We have a great family friendly atmosphere, and we’d hope you would find us approachable and practical. Being at University can be a time of great exploration and learning.

Why not add God to the list of things to ‘check out’ and come along and join us sometime? Over the years, some students have come and gone. Interestingly, (and a warning here) a large number have done odd things like stay and find a job, or a partner or even get married.
