The Daniel Challenge (DC) programme may be for you! It's a year out with a difference. The DC is a one year course that offers you qualifications through the National Open College Network in Faith and Community Development and Leadership and Community Development up to QCF 3 (NVQ3).
The year is aimed at young men and women aged 17 to 30. The programme is broken down into three areas: a year for your CV; a year for life skills; and a year for your Spirit.
DC will give you all those skills any employer is looking for such as Leadership, Teamwork, Planning, Communication, Resource Management and many more. It's all captured through the qualification. So come and improve your CV with us and get equipped for the real world when DC is finished. Through the DC, working alongside a local church, you'll also have the opportunity to develop your gifting, form your character, take part in social action programmes, do a mission trip, study the bible and serve the church. We have so many programmes and events for you to get involved with including working with CAP, the Eden Project and supporting new church plants.
DC is organised through the North East churches of Salt and Light. If you’re up for the challenge, you’ll become part of a team for the year with like-minded individuals as you learn to live out your faith on a daily basis. Interested?
